Matrix Visual had quite an exciting 2016:

a new look, new website, an expanded inventory, a grown and refined team, a partnership with LED manufacturer Unilumin, and a fresh selection of new products to bring to clients.
Here is a look back at a few of the many highlights from this past year:

Biggest Events OF 2016

CES
CES 2016 was a major year for both the show and for the part that Matrix Visual played. Between ZTE Corporation and Go Pro’s booth in partnership with King Size LED, Matrix Visual supplied nearly 700 panels, a feat only to be outdone at last weekend’s CES 2017.

Autodesk
One of the company’s biggest shows of the year, the Autodesk 2016 show was no exception with Matrix Visual providing a total of 288 Unilumin UPad III 2.6mm panels, 114 audio mixers, 36 Image Pros, 285 microphones, 220 monitors, 150 projectors and 128 screens for the event.

E3
Some of the biggest exhibitors at E3 2016 turned to Matrix Visual for their LED needs, and ultimately the show floor featured a large amount of work by the company, including three curved Unilumin UPad III 2.6mm LED walls on the Main Stage and four flat Unilumin UPad III 2.6mm for game motion graphics.

EDC Las Vegas
Two stages at this year’s EDC Las Vegas show featured Matrix Visual-supplied LED walls, including the massive 1600-tile CosmicMEADOW stage, which the supplier took part in for the third year in a row. This year was an especially challenging, with 40 mph winds testing technology and technicians alike during set-up, but the display shone bright all weekend.

Coachella
Matrix Visual supplied LED panels for three performers at Coachella 2016, including G-Eazy, Halsey, and repeat clients The Chainsmokers, whose dynamic stage design incorporated 102 7mm LED panels from Matrix Visual.

Best New Product: UPad III Series LED Panel

The absolute standout product added to the inventory at Matrix Visual in 2016 was the Unilumin Upad III Series, which includes pixel pitches ranging from 2.6mm to 6.9mm.  The series as a whole even won the 2016 WFX Church Facilities Product of the Year in the LED Video Display category for its design, versatility and easy assembly.

However, an honorable mention shout-out also has to go to the 7mm LED floor panel, which Matrix Visual debuted over the summer as part of an immersive Infinity Tunnel interactive art installation.

The Best is Yet to Come

The excitement of expansion and new horizons reached in 2016, have carved new paths for a 2017 that promises to be just as bright, both for Matrix Visual, and its clients that help make the journey-to-date possible. Matrix Visual is truly grateful for their customer’s continued business.

Matrix Visual promises to keep evolving their unmatched industry experience and technical support, while simultaneously expanding their national reach of service, and a line of product offerings that are always cutting-edge, and state-of-the-art.
