Matrix Visual is proud to bring onboard Fabian Chavez as the new Director of Operations. A seasoned veteran in operation procedures and six sigma process, he will be working on improving the back-end structure and efficiency of the growing LED company. His experience is invaluable, but what sets him apart from most is that he invests in people before anything else.
Chavez honed his skills in service and logistics with 10 years of experience at industry leaders: UPS, Oakley, and Red Digital Camera. There, he worked in crisis management, product reliability, and reverse logistics. It was at Oakley, while working on a tiger team throughout Asia, that Chavez really developed his method. This experience of working on cost saving methods, revenue generation, and a love for Aikido mixed together to create his methodology: Process / Procedure / People.
“People run procedures, and nothing gets done without people,” he said before adding, “My goal is to empower people to make decisions.”
Chavez’s philosophy of investing in people before investing in new technology drove him to meet one on one with every employee of the Matrix Visual office in Orange. This rather time consuming exercise is essential for him, considering he wants to really understand the desires and needs of everyone at the company. “People want to learn, and people need a purpose” he further claimed.
The addition of Fabian Chavez is a significant investment to further enhance Matrix Visual Solutions’ operational excellence. The company has been continuously growing since focusing solely on LED rental, and the addition of the new Director of Operations is a clear sign that there is no intention to slow down.
